In 2015, I knew I needed to make some changes. I was overweight, unhealthy, drank too much, I was exhausted, ate terribly and had to take meds for high blood pressure.
For me, it started with a decision. On June 6, 2015, I decided I’d had enough. With my husband’s love and support, I put a toe in the water to living a healthier lifestyle.
Within a few months, I jumped right in. My life went through a complete make-over. Better foods, home workouts and much less alcohol. I started to lose weight (30 pounds in 6 months) and I was much happier and more confident.
Within a year, I was off the blood pressure meds, had found a fitness community and couldn’t imagine my life any other way.
Now, three years later, I’m living my absolute best life. I’ve taken the home workouts to the gym, I meal prep like a boss and I feel wonderful in my own skin.
I am proud to be an Ambassador for AntiHero Fitness and Body by Xenia. I’ve learned so much in the year I’ve worked with them. Not only have I learned about proper fuel for your body (YOU HAVE TO EAT!!), I’ve learned that I am capable of anything. I CAN lift those weights. I CAN handle that workout. I CAN run that mile. I CAN DO ANYTHING. I believe in myself and they believe in me. It’s perfect and I am thankful.
There is a lot more to my story but I want to simplify it for you .. love yourself and strive to be better. Surround yourself with people who encourage that and love you through all of your phases.
